Half Moon Putney In Peril

The Half Moon in Putney has been a great music venue for upcoming and established acts for over 50 years. Otway has played there on numerous occasions, and has another gig coming up there in January.

Unfortunately the future of the pub as a music venue after the end of January 2010 is uncertain. You can find out a little more from their page about the closure:

Please give them all the support you can - and if you find yourself in the area over the next few weeks, why not pop in for a drink (or a gig) and show your appreciation for this historic venue.

If you weren't sure whether or not to turn out on a cold January night for the Otway gig there, please put in the effort to do so, and show the brewery that keeping live music a part of the Half Moon's future is in their interest as well as ours. Let's make this the big one for Putney!
